The Nature Center at Canaan Valley Resort State Park
Your headquarters for all things related to nature and outdoor recreation! We provide information on things to do while you are staying at the park, along with other activities in the local area. Guided walks with our Park Naturalist are offered for guest of all ages.

Thursday – Sunday: 9am – 4:30pm
*Closed Monday – Wednesday
Start your day by obtaining a map of the park, along with expert advice of our park and trail system. Our staff will help you plan a day of hiking, biking, and other nature related activities. Enjoy a cold beverage and a snack while you browse our Nature Center. Displays depicting common wildlife are available for your viewing pleasure.
We also carry an extensive line of guide books, sunscreen, insect repellant, hiking sticks, and other souvenir items to make your visit to Canaan Valley Resort State Park a memorable and comfortable experience.
