Open to all participants. Small entry fee charged. Participants win cash prizes. *Special room rates offered for all competitors and with registration form or vendors: $69 per night + tax.

Join us for a 10 mile hike starting off at the abandoned coke ovens by Douglas Falls, then through the junction of North Fork Blackwater River and the main river, across from Lindy Point. We will hike down the canyon through mixed hardwood forest. Spectacular views of the canyon and the river will be seen along this hike. Easy walking trail, but no way out once started. Please bring food, snacks, and plenty of water. We will start at Canaan Valley Resort State Park, taking the shuttle to the ovens, the shuttle will leave at 9:00am.
