Airboarding
Airboarding is a high-tech twist on traditional winter sledding. Similar to riding a bodyboard in the ocean, the Airboard is inflatable and has grooves on the underside that allow riders to make sharp turns and stop quickly in the snow. Airboarding doesn’t require a lot of equipment and it’s very easy to learn. *Minimum age 9.

XC Skiing/Snowshoeing
Perhaps the best way to experience the spectacular beauty of our “winter wonderland” is by XC Skiing and Snowshoeing. Enjoy 30 kilometers of marked, ungroomed trails and acres of wide open meadows to roam, all in a peaceful setting with no trail fees. Natural snow dependent, rentals available at the XC Ski Center. Open daily 9am – 4:30pm

Snow Tubing
One of the most popular places at the resort is the New Canaan Valley Tube Park, where guests grab specially designed riding tubes and slide down 1200′ lanes. The tube park in the longest park offered in the Mid Atlantic, with 6+ lanes for your tubing enjoyment. A magic carpet ride is available to bring you back to the top of the hill. Fun for ages 4 and up. Minimum 42” height requirement. Group rates available.
Snow Tubing Rates
Ice Skating
A covered, outdoor ice skating rink overlooking the valley and the Allegheny Mountains gives skaters a fabulous view while they try to master their figure eights. The rink features an outdoor fireplace.
