In the spirit of Halloween, Canaan Valley Resort will host complimentary pumpkin painting and decorating from 1-3pm in the Elm and Willow Rooms at the resort lodge this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 16.

“Whether you live near the resort or are visiting for the weekend, come out and decorate your own personalized pumpkin,” said Sam England, general manager at Canaan Valley Resort. “We’ll provide the pumpkin – or feel free to bring your own – as well as paint, stickers and other supplies.”

England said there is no cost to participate.

Additionally, guests can enjoy the waning days of fall by hiking or biking on the miles of state park trails, taking a scenic chairlift ride, or playing a round of golf, among other activities.
