A moderate 2 hour instructional hike where we explore the local habitat to find those plants that can help keep you alive.  Find out which plants are safe to eat.  Learn which trees and plants are best for food, fire, shelter, baskets, or rope. You will be taught and practice the Plant Edibility Test to keep yourself safe. 

Fee charged: $39 for ages 12 and older; Children age 12 - under are free with accompanying adult. Bring water, snacks, rain wear, suitable outdoor clothes and hiking boots or shoes suggested.  Hike will be conducted rain or shine. Minimum: 6 people
