Canaan Valley Resort State Park will celebrate the Annual WV Days Celebration. The weekend’s events will feature civil war re-enactments, authentic encampment, plus battlefield demonstrations, presented by the Barbour Grays from Philippi, WV; 1st. West Virginia Calvary Company “C”, the 140th Volunteers from Green County, PA, and the WV Light Artillery. These volunteers bring history to life for all to see. Family oriented - see women, service men and children dressed in period clothing.

Friday, June 18
6 pm - 8 pm
Encampment Opens - Tour the grounds and learn how soldiers and their families lived during these times of war.
9 am - 5 pm
Kettle Corn and Pork Rinds
5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm
WagonRide/Marshmallow Roast Take an evening wagon ride through the park, and enjoy an old fashioned campfire complete with marshmallow roast. *Register in the Beech Club, meet in front of Main Lodge.
Fee charged: Adult $7 / Jr. $4 (ages 6-12).
*Small children are free w/parents.
