Family on a hike

Set your alarm clock and witness a sunrise like never before. Step onto one of Dolly Sods National Wilderness trails and watch as the sun starts to unearth itself from the Blackbird Knob summit. Slow down. Take a moment to look around -- only you and nature.  Listen to the trees rustling and the birds starting to sing their songs. Embrace the calmness of what is nature and just be. A sunrise hike is sure to set you on the right path for the rest of the day’s activities.
