A variety of promotions are available toward ski passes, rental equipment, tubing, and ice skating throughout the winter season. Read offers below to learn more.
Seasonal Promotions
Discounts offered to college students (and faculty) with proper ID throughout the season. Not available on Holidays.
Midweek: Monday - Friday (9 am - 4:30 pm) and non-holiday Sundays (12 pm - 4:30 pm)
- $45 - Ski Pass
- $65 - Ski Pass w/Ski or Snowboard Rental
Weekend: Saturdays & Sundays: (non-holiday)
- $65 - Ski Pass
- $90 - Ski Pass w/Ski or Snowboard Rental
Donate a non-perishable food item to support the local food pantry of Tucker County, West Virginia and guest will receive a discount ski pass for the day. *One item per person may be redeemed for the discount offer. Offer valid each Tuesday during non-holiday time periods.
- $30 - Day Ski Pass only
- $50 - Day Ski Pass with Ski or Snowboard Rental.
- Offer valid on Tuesday (s) only for single day Ski Pass
- Offer is not valid during December 25th - January 5th.

When school is closed due to snow conditions- you know the skiing couldn't be better at Canaan Valley Resort. Hit the slopes for a ski day on the mountain at Canaan Valley Resort. All students, faculty, and parents will receive the discount offers. Offer valid Monday - Friday (non-holiday) 2025-2026 Ski Season. In person sales only.
Skiing
- $25 - Ski Pass
- $40 - Ski Pass w/Ski or Board Rental
(2 Hour Session) Snow Tubing Pass -Day sessions (A, B, C)
$15 per person

Bring a friend to ski or board on Tuesday. Take your choice of the BOGO offerings each Tuesday throughout the season:
- BOGO - Day Ski Pass
- BOGO - 2 Hour Tubing Session
- Ice Rink 2 Hour Session
Restrictions
- Purchase 1 day Ski Pass at window rate/receive same of equal or lesser value free
- Purchase an ice skating session and rental for one person, receive 2nd of same item free.

In appreciation of those living in the state of West Virginia (especially our local residents), we invite you to ski or tube at Canaan Valley Resort on Wednesday at the following discount rates. Valid ID is required at time of purchase (homeowners must show proof of ownership to receive the discount offer).
Skiing
- $30 - Ski Pass
- $50 - Ski Pass w/Ski or Snowboard Rental
Snow Tubing (2 Hour Session) - $20 per person
Restrictions:
- Offered is valid on Wedneday(s) only for single day Ski Pass or Ski Pass/rental
- Offer is not valid during Dec. 25, 2025 - Jan. 5, 2026
- Discounts cannot be combined with other promotional offers
Canaan Valley Resort appreciates the men and women that serve us daily. Discount offered to our service men and women (active or retired) and their dependents with valid ID.
Midweek:
- 40% Discount - Single day (non-holiday) Ski Pass and Rentals
- 20% Discount - Snow Tubing Tickets
Weekend or Holiday:
- 20% Discount - Single day Ski Pass and Rentals
- 10% Discount - Snow Tubing Tickets
Restrictions:
- Valid military or first responder ID is required at time of check-in or when purchasing recreational activities
- Recreation discounts available for the 25/26 winter season
- Ski pass or Tubing ticket discounts will be taken from the Window Rate. Discounts are not offered for multi-day pass or tickets, and cannot be combined with other discount rates, coupons, or promotional offers. Passes or tickets may not be purchased online at this time.
- Accommodation discounts will be taken from the Best Available Rate offered at time of reservation. Discounts are not available for package offers, or campground reservations. Advanced reservations are required/subject to availability.
- Discounts are available to active duty, retired & dependents of either w/valid Military ID.
An additional $5 return-visit discount may be applied to ski pass reloads when an RFID card is presented. This return-visit discount cannot be combined with any of the discounts listed above and does not apply to tubing tickets. Promotions may not be combined and apply only to the purchase of single-day tickets.
